You Shall See The Glory Of God
John 11:40 (NIV)
"Then Jesus said, "Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?"
The Lord has spoken to us, if we believe and not doubt nothing would be impossible. In His last days with His disciples He foretold that signs and wonders would follow all who believed in Him. We Christians should expect miracles, we should expect to see supernatural events in and around our lives on a regular bases. But are we? Why not?
The Apostle Paul wrote in
1 Cor 2:4,5 (NIV)
"My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power,"
"so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power."
He was saying his message and preaching were not by the wisdom of man but by a demonstration of the power of the Spirit. Why? That their faith would not rest upon the wisdom of men but on the power of God.
We live in an age where the wisdom of man has advanced and man has accomplished much. Even in the church world, most look to their own wisdom rather then the power of God. This is not the church that God desires to build. In Psalm 127 the Holy Scriptures warn us "Unless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it;"
To much is being done by the wisdom of men rather then by the power of God. Did Jesus not say that if we would believe we would see the glory of God. We at New Life Ministries Church are seeking to see the glory of God. We have to long been beaten down by the devil. Deceived by his lies. God's Word is truth, we hunger for the manifestation of His Spirit in our services and we thirst for His gifts to again be operating among us.
God longs to move among His people to demonstrate His power and glory. But a lack of faith has prevented this.
If you have a hunger and a thirst to be in the presence of His glory, why not come and join us in our search. Let us come before Him expecting miracles, let us expect to see His Glory.
